When this coach was built in 1986, Beaver set the bar in the industry for luxury motor coaches. There is no better way to travel the country than in a nice motor coach (like mine) with air suspension to float down the highway.
Just look at this description and options; the 40' x 102" Wide body mounted on a Gillig air ride bus chassis.
This quiet running diesel pusher is powered by a 300hp 3208 Caterpillar engine that only has 67,000 miles on it, gets about 9 mpg or about 8 mpg towing.
The transmission is an Allison 4spd automatic. With the 150-gallon fuel tank, you will have to stop well before it does, just apply the air brakes.
This coach rolls on regroovable tires mounted on aluminum wheels, plus has a 50' air hose and reel to air up those tires. Double electric steps, tow hitch, hydraulic leveling jacks, and solar panel w/ battery charger to keep the new batteries charged.
While sitting in one of the leather 8 way power captain seats, the driver has the convenience of tilt steering, cruise control, rear vision camera/monitor, fog lights, backing lights, docking lights, spot light, CB radio, & power side mirrors w/defrost.
Both drive and passenger seats have fans and overhead lights. Safety features include LP gas detector, smoke detector & fireproof safe.
Climate control provided by 2 air conditioners one on roof and one on rear that is central ducted, roof vent, LP gas furnace central ducted in floor, and (2) electric heaters. Or you can do it the old fashion way and just open the windows; it has (1) 20’ awning, & (3) 6' awnings.
For those of you who just can't leave anything behind there is plenty of storage with (4) separate basement compartments.
If that’s not enough storage space roof rack will hold the rest, which is accessible from the rear ladder. The interior has natural oak woodwork through out, Corian counter tops through out, hardwood floors in kitchen, tile in bathroom, carpet in bed/living rooms, and Moen fixtures, water dispenser w/ filter.
If you wish to really rough it off the beaten path, you will have a 100 gallon tank of fresh water backed up with a 50 gray water tank & 50 gallon black water tank. Not a bad way to camp out with an Onan 6.4 generator, 30 gallons of LP gas, and 2000w inverter to run the microwave/convection combo, Dometic refrigerator/freezer, stand alone ice maker w/ water filter, while relaxing in the Lazy boy swivel/rocker recliner.
You will stay well rested on the Queen size bed and entertain yourself with the VCR and 2 13' TV's, one on the living room and one in the bedroom. Stay well refreshed with the full size shower under the skylight with a 6-gallon water heater.
Back in the so-called civilized world the musical horn can announce your arrival and departure. Your interior privacy is provided by front window day shades and horizontal blinds through out rest of coach. It also has a beautiful Capitan’s clock and lighting that is easy on the eyes for early risers. The bedroom has a mirrored double sliding door closet (cedar lined), there is a half closet in the bathroom (cedar lined), and there are mirrors on the inside of the bathroom doors along with a mirrored (3) door medicine cabinet, and a laundry hamper under the vanity. NO SLIDE OUTS TO EVENTUALLY LEAK.
